It’s the weekend and you’re at the local footy match. You see one of the players twist their ankle to the side and fall over. Someone yells out for help, and as the nearest medical student, your friend kindly volunteers you to give them a hand. This workshop aims to give students practical skills in managing common sporting soft tissue injuries. It will provide an opportunity to practice strapping various joints and learn real-life applicable skills. Lead by Sports Medicine Australia with help from the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, this workshop will have experts on hand to help you strap those sporting injuries with ease.
